The new year began with a trip for PGS Lighting Electrical. Members of the PGS Lighting Electrical Lighting Sales Department had the opportunity to visit LEDS-C4 in Spain.
PGS team had a tour in the premises of LEDS-C4 and experienced all stages of the implementation of a luminaire, from its design stage to its production. At the same time, they attended a seminar on indoor and outdoor lighting. They also visited some of LEDS-C4 projects, mainly in the field of hospitality. Through these visits, they had the chance to see different lighting techniques as well as innovative lighting applications.
Spanish company LEDS-C4 has been designing and producing lighting devices for all kinds of spaces, both indoors and out, for more than 40 years. The company’s head office is located in Torà, 100km from Barcelona, and covers an area of 30,000sqm. The premises house the R&D design centre, the main production and management area, and a logistics centre with more than 150,000m3 of warehouse capacity. LEDS-C4 has undertaken many lighting projects around the world such as large shopping malls (Centro Comercial Arenas de Barcelona in Spain, Centro Comercial Majadas in Guatemala), luxury hotels (Doubletree By Hilton in Ras Al Khaimah (EAU), Hotel Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona), offices (Razorfish in Berlin, Samsung in Paris) and many others.
PGS Lighting Electrical continually invests in the complete and proper training of its staff. Educational trips such as the recent ones aim to provide staff with unique knowledge and experiences that will be useful to them in their career and career development.
